I just heard there's a new Oasis album out on May 16th! Noel says it's going to be the best one yet. Of course, he says that about ALL his albums. (Even “Be Here Now”…which he later admitted was coked-up crap), but you never know…I like “Standing on the Shoulder Of Giants” and “Heathen Chemistry” a lot. It's hard to top “Definitely Maybe” which is an album that changed my life. But whatever happens (which is potentially a lot, since Noel's letting everyone in the band write songs. Even Liam who I'm is a bit “special” in the head), a new Oasis album means new Oasis b-sides and even the b-sides on “Be Here Now” were good. It also means seeing the lads on the cover of magazines again which is always a joy. Interviews with Oasis are hands down the funniest interviews you will ever read.
Furthermore, bad Oasis albums still blow most of the popular bands of today out the water.
Take that, Hoobastank!
I will be in London right before the album is released. I think I will try to get up to Manchester to see where it all began.
